English speakers decided they have the right to change the definition of a Japanese word when they don't even speak Japanese

Even Itch is complicit now...they changed the definition of the otome tag on their website to mean games for F x M and F x F

Makes zero sense why they would do this...they cry about 'inclusivity' but I as a lesbian now need to trudge through games with het content when I don't want to see it because Yuri devs are now using the otome tag

Does inclusivity now mean removing a safe space for lesbians and moving them into a het space?

This is what really annoys me. The sheer narcissism of it. Reeks of "we know better than you." Uh... really? The group of people that actually made the language? You don't get to decide that for them, the hell? It's not "language evolving" in action (as they love to claim) it's just children trying to force their way onto others. Again, narcissism. It's really incredible how they don't see a problem with this... like, at all. Absolute hypocrites
