Thanks for playing! The boss should be 5 rooms from the entrance. It's meant to feel "maze" like, but it's on rails. The boss is easier than the rest of the game, given the wrong levels, it can be pretty punishing. They're chosen at random so every playthrough is different. The boss does throw projectiles and does summon mummies, but being a jam game, we didn't want to make it too difficult. I do agree about the health bars, I wanted to switch the bar out for some pixel hearts or something, but didn't have the time for it.
