Hi! I love the illuminated manuscript design, it's gorgeous and inspiring. I'll take a closer look at the rules and character sheets, which seem clear and well-presented. And... I have a question: did you create the illustrations yourself?

Let me tell you somethnig,

I created a tactical RPG engine (like Fire Emblem) a while ago. The tile-based style, outside of 4X games (like Civilization), is missing on PC for me. Currently, I'm working on a completely different creative movement, but an illuminated manuscript design in that style could be a good fit. (I don't think I would have thought of that myself!)  Perhaps a collaboration in the futur, who knows? :)

Anyway I'll take the time to look, read rules and lore, and I'll probably give you feedback. In any case, good luck at you!

Thanks! The Illustrations are all 13th-15th century woodcuts, as they're all the feel I am looking for - and were in the public domanin (with the exception of the icons used for the 4 Character classes, which I did a mock up for, and had AI standardize them).
And sure, I'm always down for collabs, but again, I just used images from history.
I'd love any feedback you could give!

Cool I love this sytle too, ok so there are illustrations of public domain. Yes I see your icons for your Character classes are different indeed

Since the illustrations inspired me, I make a test :

Not perfect for shure, I keep appearance of the knight by giving it a new position. The downside is, that I've strayed a bit from the 13th-century illustration style, but it was to see what a sprite rendering would look like. What do you think?          Anyway, I'll read your rules when I can, probably see ya!

Love it! Glad to be a source of inspiration :)
Lemme know what you think once you've looked it over !
