Thanks for the feedback! I do have a couple things: firstly, if the user were to be able to use the shield while shooting, it would decrease the challenge drastically. Secondly, all you have to do in order to shoot immediately after the shield deactivates is to keep holding the mouse down- it just takes a second (intentionally for more challenge). The shield is most often useful nearing the end of the wave, as more of a last-minute protection, but with more skillful timing it works mid-wave too. I'm glad you like the game though! 

I agree that allowing the player to shoot while the shield was up wouldn't be a good idea in its current state, I was more trying to say that because you couldn't do anything while the shield was up it feels useless since you're just sitting and waiting once it's up. If you could do something while the shield was up, like some kind of debuff for the players or something that doesn't allow for complete cheese, I think it would just feel more meaningful. Also it is fair that while unpowering the shield it takes a second for the guns to start to fire, I admit that I just didn't realise, but maybe there should be some kind of feedback to signify that to the players. Like the guns could show on screen but just wouldn't start charging until the time. I got confused because nothing happened. I'm sorry this sounded so critical, your game is really good and definitely up there with some of the best in this jam!
