how did you get your contraption to actually sit in the middle of the mineable blocks? mine falls to the ground before it can dig its way in
pistons on wheels. The hardest design challenge wasnt really getting it up, rather, finding a way to clear the blocks above in a way that makes space for the machine, whilst still keeping the ceiling low enough to be gripped by the wheels on the roof. I ended up using a piston on one of the bottom wheels to push it up, whilst also having a piston on one of the drills so it could clear enough space to push up into.
