Hi! I've finished playing the game, so I've decided to write this review. For people who did not play the game, there may be some spoilers.
The game is pretty well made considering this is just your second game and your young age, you did a pretty good job on storytelling and creating the cutscenes. Texture work is also pretty good and the music choice is spot on.
I think the kids' models look pretty good, I don't really like the father's model design though, I understand it was meant to be scary, but I think he looks just goofy, the eyes proportion do not really work to sell the scary aesthetic in my opinion.
The gameplay is too slow and repetitive, it should be sped up, traversing the home is also definetely too slow, the kids should either walk faster or be able to run. There is too much repetition in the kind of action you have to take and they are all pretty boring, not much happens during that and they are not something that engages the player. You either have to find objects or get from point A to point B without much happening between. I'd advise a gameplay that makes the player think or feal in danger.
The way the doors open is frustrating, they sometimes open on you, while I believe they should always open on the opposite side of where you are. Sure, it is not realistic, but it happens too often that the door slams you while you are trying to get through it, which is frustrating. It could have been interesting if there was some kind of chasing through the home, but there is not, so I think the way the doors open should be touched a little.
I also found not clear how to activate tha flashlight the first time I got it, there was no prompt telling me which key to press, so I thought there was just no light. I figured it out by chance the second time. There should be a prompt telling you to press F.
There were some bugs and some weird optimization issues. There is a graphical glitch when standing behind the desk in Jun and Miko's room where a lot of geometry does not get rendered, if I have to guess it is probably due to the camera glitching through another object. Also, sometimes when just facing walls, the GPU utilization goes up by a lot, I don't know why but that should definetely be investigated and solved. One of these sposts is during hide 'n seek, the wall you have to face to starts the game rumps up GPU utilization.
Overall I think this is an interesting game, particularly considering the low amount of experience that let you made something that is enjoyable, but there is not much polish and a lot of untapped potential.
Keep it up, solve the problems and learn from your mistakes to make even better games, you are doing great!
