I built a small iOS app to peek at itch.io sales from your phone — looking for TestFlight testers

Hi everyone,

I built a small iOS app called Indie Revenue that lets you peek at your itch.io sales from your phone, home-screen widgets, Apple Watch complication, a Game-Jam-Mode for the 48 hours after a submission.

I'm looking for honest feedback before the public App Store release. It's free to join the TestFlight, no commitment - you can leave any time.

  What it does

  • Today's revenue and downloads at a glance - plus 7-day and 30-day trend
  • Per-game cards so you can see which releases are quietly working
  • Native iOS home-screen widgets (Small, Medium, Lock-Screen)
  • Apple Watch complication for the morning-coffee glance
  • Game-Jam-Mode - a 48-hour live tracker that turns on after you mark a jam submission. Built with Ludum Dare, GMTK, Global Game Jam in mind. Free during the major jam weekends.
  • Possible-refund detection - itch's 14-day refund window is easy to miss
  • CSV export + tax-year summary for the bookkeeping part nobody enjoys

What this is NOT

Not a re-skin of the itch.io website. Not a third-party login portal. Uploading games, page-edits, community stuff all happens on itch.io like always. This is just the quiet glance in-between.

How testing works

  1. Tap the TestFlight link below
  2. Install TestFlight if you don't have it (free, Apple)
  3. Open IndieRevenue, tap "Continue with demo data", no sign-in needed, three demo games are pre-seeded so you can feel what the app looks like.
  4. (Optional) Paste your real itch.io API key from itch.io/user/settings/api-keys to see your own data. The key lives in your iPhone's Keychain and is used only to authenticate calls to itch.io's own API.

TestFlight join link: CLICK (Requires iOS 26 or later)

During this TestFlight beta: all Pro features are unlocked for free. No in-app purchase, no sandbox-account dance just try everything, paywall included. The point is feedback, not revenue. You can poke at the paywall to see how it looks, but tapping "buy" won't charge you.

What I'd love feedback on

  1. Do the widgets feel useful, or just noise?
  2. Game-Jam-Mode - does it make sense after a submission?
  3.  Anything confusing, slow, or off-brand for how itch creators actually work
  4. After this beta ends - would you keep it on your home screen, or uninstall? Be honest, no offense taken.

You can reply here, DM me, or use the in-app "Send feedback" button

Hi there!

Indie Revenue looks like an incredibly smart and useful tool. The idea of having a dedicated Game-Jam-Mode, easy access to widgets, and automated refund detection is exactly the kind of quality-of-life improvement indie developers need to handle the business side of their art.

By day, I am a Project Management Professional for a large software consulting firm, and on the side, I provide project management services specifically for indie game developers. Your app really spoke to me because it fluidly combines those two worlds: professional software utility and the indie game development ecosystem.

Preparing for a public App Store release while managing an active TestFlight beta involves juggling a lot of moving parts. I help developers organize their production cycles and pipelines, and I would love to offer my project management services to help you navigate this final stretch and beyond.

Here is how I can support the Indie Revenue launch:

  • Feedback Triage & Prioritization: Organizing the influx of TestFlight feedback you are requesting, categorizing bug reports versus feature requests, and prioritizing what needs immediate attention before version 1.0.
  • Roadmap Planning: Helping you map out post-launch updates, deciding when to roll out new features, and keeping the ongoing development cycle sustainable so you avoid burnout.

Transitioning from a beta to a live public release is a major milestone. I would love to bring my enterprise software background and indie game passion to your project to help make this launch as smooth as possible.
