OH HO, you trickster! lol

I like this one a lot. I didn't do much reading with the description. I just saw that I only needed to click and dove in. I was able to understand what you wanted to convey without the explanation at the end but I think it isn't helpful. I like that you don't see any additional information besides the name, gender, and social status of the person. Although I think for social status you're talking more about generational wealth and influence. Not having other factors made me think about or imagine, "What kind of person is this? Why is their life so hard?!" or so easy after playing through a few. It has the player grapple with their own assumptions.

This would be the kind of game you'd have a teacher use in a classroom.

Aww, thanks for the feedback.

Indeed, the ending text is probably a bit much. I was worried that with only four characters, the topic might not resonate. It also makes the game easier to share. And finally, since I don't really have a story ending, it clearly signals that the experience is over.

You're absolutely right about social status being linked to influence and heritage. I did try to find other ways to express it, but they either became too much or too theoretical.

I'm glad you found a space to let your imagination run wild and come up with hypotheses. It's very valuable feedback.

Now I'm picturing a class of 30 teenagers mashing their spacebars during a sociology lesson XD I have tons of sociology topics tucked away; eventually, I'd like to create little games to make them more accessible.

I think the ending text is a nice footnote for those who won't get it. Don't worry about it being too much, for me it was a confirmation. If the ending text had been, "You didn't click hard enough for the others so they had bad lives" I would have been VERY confused.
