There are some trinkets that give slot machine-like buffs to items that you use (if the obstacles didn't exist, the buffs would be absolutely broken)
Dude, I'm just starting out the game and you're punishing me because some trinkets I MIGHT get in mid/late game MIGHT make it too easy?
Now read again what I just wrote.
I'm not getting anywhere near mid game because it's just not fun right from the start.
You are killing your potential player base with dubious decisions.
