I really enjoyed the puzzles here! You might want to tweak the movement a bit, it's a bit janky with the pauses between steps. I get you're trying to keep the player from killing himself, but when you just want to reach another part of level, the step-by-step movement is kinda grating. Also, the text font looks a bit too fancy and clean for the overall vibe of the game...
Enjoyed playing this nevertheless, it's pretty polished!
A really neat concept and fun game, but with a few caveats:
1. upgrades seem to stop working at a certain point - between leveles 3-4 my bullets just stopped exploding and max damage for all weapons got capped at 7, with the odd 11 thrown in here and there
2. it needs more upgrades and weapons - at level 38 there isn't that much more to upgrade, while enemies get harder and there is more of them
3. you can get stuck in the terrain, I almost died when some piece of terrain on the floor wouldn't let me pass, and it was so small that you almost couldn't see it
4. an autodigging upgrade would be nice (hold right-click)
5. enemies hitboxes need tweaking, since you have a isometric camera it kinda gets hard to hit enemies at certain points because you need to be aiming at their legs, and it's not always easy to find that point
6. a map would be great
7. crystals are almost worthless at level 38 with max double gain, you probably need some other form of XP gain on later levels
8. why no XP gain for monster kills?
9. my crossbow wouldn't auto-reload at a couple of occasions, I had to manually press R
10. Keyboard rebinding would be great
11. Enemies can spawn under you and damage you, not ideal...
This could easily be a 10$ game and you could sell a couple of thousand of them on Steam if you manage to polish it :)
Good job!
This seems like such a fun little game with fun graphics and music, and interesting progression, but it's completely ruined by a few points:
1. touchy controls - there should be some leeway with platforming, the game is brutally punishing
2. relentless enemies - if you don't know what's going on, one little robot on lvl 1 can take away ALL your widgets and you can do fuck all, it's the same for all other levels. My suggestion would be that each enemy could take max of 5 widgets per hit, and you can restore them ALL by hitting them.
Brilliant! You need to compile all your games, slap a bit of hand-drawn art on the tiles, and release this as a giant puzzle-treat-extravaganza, like The Witness!!!
Every single game you put out has a uniquely simple premise, but gets complex just enough that it gets almost stupidly hard but passable - so it is super-exhillarating once you get through.
Just brilliant! :)
This is freaking awesome!
Finally made it to the end, after 5-6 days of playing.
Silver hollow boost + gold hollow heal (MIRACLE) made the run for me!
I have a couple of suggestions for dice types!
trample - after dealing overkill damage to one enemy, spills the rest of damage on the following enemy
spread - deals the same amount of damage to all enemies

Dear Casper, if I were ever to meet you, I really don't know whether I would smack you on the back of our devious head, or to hug you. This has been the most frustrating yet profoundly satisfying gaming experience in 2021, or maybe even the last 2 years, right behind Outer Wilds.
Keep 'em coming you beautiful bastard!
