"there were no “complete day” button and instead a new machine appear." Had the same issue. I think it appeared after I purchased the automatic valve sabotage. The wire task became impossible to be green, only yellow or red. Since the valve doesn't seem to be implemented I think the issue is there, probably.
I started over and never bought the valve auto-sabotage and could bankrupt the company without issue.
