amazing job on the overhaul update! played it right now, so far it's been good, it plays and feels much better. im having fun just looking around now. fighting enemies now can be a challenge, but it's still a bit chill, imo. might be just me, it's not really a bad thing. i'm not too far into the game either, still not done yet.

but so far i have some feedback on features and bugs:

1. Wonky sound balance: the audio is a bit all over the place. Some SFX are loud, while some are much quieter. Some sounds are delayed.

Loud sounds: menu music, teleport sound (it made me physically recoil lol, it almost hurts), ammo pickup sfx, SMG shot sfx, fermi slug death sfx.

Quiet sounds: pistol shot, some enemy sounds.

The in-game music and menu music are very different in volume - the menu is so loud, while in-game it's quiet (as it should be on my volume settings). 

Shotgun sound is delayed - the sound play half a second later after i click LMB and the visual effect.

2. Collectables pickup green flash is a bit too bright, imo. The whole screen turns solid green for a moment, and it's not nice when playing in the dark. Very noticeable when you pick up multiple items. I got used to it after a while, but still it can be a bit distracting and uncomfortable.

3. Eve terminal text just freezes my game - it feels like a cutscene should play, but my screen just freezes, while the audio plays.

4. Adam's text can be a bit hard to read when his speech is long, as the size of his monologue window doesn't change, so the font just gets smaller.
