Have you considered releasing it on Steam?
that requires an upfront fee, plus steam recently has begun limiting adult content, and managing updates on there is far more tedious than it is on itch. i think itch is still the better platform for this.
I'm trying! It's taking a while because there's a lot of work to do for it.
