great to see you all this week, welcome to

EPISODE 22.5! "my_house.AshTrLn"

[which, if you were quick enough, you would've been able to see live on my twitch because I accidentally hit "start stream" instead of "start recording". how fun.]

so, our session starts exactly where they left off, in the Protektor archives room, with Lilith Itou still present, and Eve taped to the ceiling missing her face. standard things so far, Pixie has a chat with Lilith, the rest of the party either forgets to, or intentionally doesn't tell Pixie that Lilith is a walking corpse. my bet is that they forgot to be honest, although there is a non zero chance I simply haven't told them yet, in which case, sorry for the spoilers.

anyway, they notice a door at the end of the room, one that wouldn't look out of place in a house built in our time, white painted wood with siding made of the same material, but in a facility consisting entirely of thick concrete and steel it is very out of place. the space they find on the other side is strange. an impossibly dark hallway, made of a strange grey ashy stone, stretching out for miles, ever shifting, the items not directly held or on their bodies begin to crumble and disappear, as if consumed into the House itself[side-note, I wish coloured text here for presumably obvious reasons] as they continue they find several oddities, such as the way that despite the fact that they think they're moving in a straight line, they're going is seemingly a circle, or the doorways that appear and disappear at random, they eventually end up finding a rifle, not before finding the body of one of the last guy that ended up here, as well as some tapes and his rifle, before going upstairs into.... the house. sparsely decorated, as if only meant to be seen from the outside. the first floor is relatively normal though, the sitting room has a grand total of two armchairs and fuck-all else in the room, the dining room is both directly in view of the street so obviously it's the most well furnished, set as if just in time for lunch before the people in question there just blipped out of reality, the kitchen is mostly fine too, except for the way a bunch of the cupboards and cabinets simply do not work. in the fridge is nothing except a long description of a film called the Navidson record. while this is the point in the report that I drop the pretences and state that this session was a massive, blatant homage/rip-off of the book "House of leaves" which I have been reading recently despite it being mildly incomprehensible, this is also the point of the report here that I mention two things,

1. Fox and Pixie were onto my ass since the hallway, except both of them thought it was a reference to the map "My_house.WAD", not the book.

2. This session had the most derailment out of any session. Not an admonishment by the way, this lot had me giggling like a stalling Diesel engine but still.

- Pixy is now *Aware*[tm] of her Player {it was inevitable}

the second floor of the building is more of what Pixy was expecting, the concrete, the reds & greys, etc however the first room they enter, a children's bedroom that is very clearly ripped from some house in the nation and Pixie is just...….. thoroughly befuddled. absolutely flummoxed. "why would a child want to draw???" or whatever goes on in the minds of those National units, the next room was an office, taken right out of the Nation seemingly, with a sign that says "Navidson Realty" on the back of the door. the only notable thing in this room was a handgun in a desk drawer, and that was when we ended the session.

and also that was when I realised that I was streaming on accident instead of recording.

see all of you later this week!

great to see you all again this week, and welcome back to

EPISODE 22.10! "my_house.AshTrLn part two: teeth."

[which, thankfully I didn't accidentally stream this time].

Fox's Overseer was at the dentist, so we got to shoot some extra footage at the house on ash tree lane, except with Eve now since she was here.

the team started out in the upstairs landing, Pixie still having an existential crisis exactly where they left off, in the office, quickly moving over to the master bedroom, finding a couple things, notably including
- a gun that should not fit in a bedside table drawer that small
- weirdness about how people store clothes because apparently drawers are suboptimal
- a concerning amount of pictures of the empress and the great revolutionary, all of which painted in a particularly gay way

the master bedroom itself is a weird mix of Imperial and National.

"We are fighting in a gay war" -E.U.L.R.-N4-09 "Eve"
"the lesbians are too powerful. Why do you think they're both Women? Wait I said that wrong" -K.L.B.R-C1-04 "BIRD"

[those were said in sequence btw.]

they also found

- obsidian when haves meat in it
and
- og Lilith's corpse in the bed, which is then helpfully removed by our "stage-hand", Adrian, aka "gas-mask guy" before Eve can dwell on it too much.
- one drawer was entirely empty, save for one singular grape.
- body armour

there is also possibly my worst environment yet in here.

CARPETED BATHROOM.

also including today's guest star, the black mold from J.K Rowling's flat. also the shag carpet in here? it's a living thing, one that accidentally gets killed by Pixie as she walks out. the air in there was a biohazard from the mold, don't worry too much.
the basement of the house wasn't much really? I mean yeah there was evidence that it was being used as a makeshift holding cell for a person here, and for a few minutes, the world outdoors turns to a civil war as the house starts trying to swallow them up, they manage to get out right before the floor just fucking disappears, and also THE HOUSE ITSELF, being replaced by a single door standing in an empty lot, while the other people on the street are now very confused as to what these three weird German robot people are doing here, so they escape through a hole in the fence at the back of the property, ending up on a rural road, next to a crashed car with a weird radioactive man and the equally weird contents of his car, like the pile of human hands, or the trunk filled to bursting with TEETH.

P.S.

TEETH.

we didn’t do a session last week, I had a nasty migraine.

Sorry to hear it. Hope you feel better soon!

I'll live, it's fine :]

Hi again, welcome in for

Session 23

where my recording corrupted AGAIN. Thankfully we didn't really do too much.

session began back in the Protektor archives, fox gets the rest of his nails done, they find the hunter key and the island key, then they left, I believe there was some kind of heated discussion but that may mor may not be my mind mixing up session 22.5 with this one, they leave for the piano room, Fox vaporises a corrupted Eule, they go over to the piano room hallway, Fox eviscerates a corrupted star but inadvertantly breaks the door behind her, Pixie breaks open the piano room door, where they organised their inventories, Pixie saved on the party's behalf, Eve played some songs from Detroit: become human on the mildly broken piano, mildly calming her sister's ghost from "always pissed off at her" to "neutral about her" which was about where we ended for the week. see you all next time with more news probably!

Möge das wachsame Auge der großen Revolutionäre euch Sicherheit bringen.
願皇后的祝福伴你一路前行

it was 31 degrees I'll be fucked if I have to run a session in this heat, sorry.

Extremely understandable. I'd have done the same thing lol

good afternoon fellow overseers, as well as the few replikas I've given direct access to the after action reports, welcome in for

SESSION 24!

the party started in the piano room, having some idle chats, and deciding to go over to the next floor down, that being floor B8. the observant among you who've played the game recently or simply remember the game in any decent detail, you might remember that one important thing on this floor is the mineshaft access lift. we're getting to the part where I can drop part of the façade soon :]

anyway, combat happened directly as they got to the North hallway, as per usual, also featuring the combat use of bioressonance for the first time[thanks bird], as well as the first use of the "fight back" action[Thank you Fox] before it ended. also two separate weapon malfunctions. how it is physically possible to make a mining laser jam is beyond me but it's Not my fault Pixie rolled a -1 in combat. Anyway, while deciding where to go next, our players left for a unmarked door to their right, ending up....

outside the facility? if we're being specific, space-elevator site Kappa, where Fox and Bird were stationed prior to ending up down here, Bird manages to find a flak vest [takes away a point from speed, adds it to total stat.] as well as a satellite phone on the bed of a formerly National K.L.B.R unit converted to work for the empire.

first call: Staff sergeant B. Miller. in charge of Delta company, which Fox and Bird were stationed with prior to the start of the campaign, who they called while it was 3:12 AM for her. she was tired, confused and clearly unenthused by the fact that two people she had marked as being very dead were actually trapped in some nightmare dimension since for her it had been over 5 months, they already had replacements for Fox and Bird, all of this just sounds like extra paperwork to her. also she might have been the overseer this whole time. who knows. Me. I know. and I'm not telling.

second call: brigadier general [REDACTED] von degurechaff, a old man in charge of the Empire's operations on Europa, only supposed to be called when absolutely, POSITIVLEY necessary. this circumstance defo fits that criteria, and as such, Bird calls him, finding that apparently he was just about to order a larger expedition team down into a similar unknown facility[hmm] before he was called. Bird tries to transmit her current coordinates to him only for them to be garbage data, first scanning towards the depths of empty space, then to right next to him, etc. the line goes slack as he gets pulled away by someone bursting into the room in a panic. it is then surmised that this is some kind of time loop.

after all that, they abandon the phone, Bird takes more dice out of her footlocker next to her bed, and right as the gang is about to leave they spot someone, a soldier wearing a suit of outdated orbital trooper gear with purple accents watching them from a far, one that the mention of gave Fox's player a mild jumpscare because

a.] that's just boldfaced one of my ocs. like literally, it was one of my halo ocs.

b.] THAT'S MINNESOTA. THAT'S LITERALLY THE OIC THAT GOT ME TO MEET FOX'S PLAYER.

Anyway, that's where we ended the session this week, overall fun I believe, see you all next week!

Möge das wachsame Auge der großen Revolutionäre euch Sicherheit bringen.

good afternoon fellow Overseers, as well as people that are reading for fun,

SESSION 25

potentially the half-way mark from our campaign. maybe.

so, we started exactly as we left last week, with Fox and the gang getting[mostly Fox] jumpscared by...….. the Tumblr roleplay oc that inadvertently set in motion the chain of events that lead to me actually running a ttrpg campaign in the first place, so everyone please thank Freelancer medical officer, Agent Minnesota, who fox immediately offered a cigarette to. I wish the comment section here allowed images, but alas, it does not, so I will do my best to describe her face under the helmet, since it was an entire skill check to help get her helmet off.

her skin is very pale, covered in freckles, long frizzy black hair with grey streaks, a permanent tired expression on her face, her normal eye is purple, however the left eye is fucked up, by that I mean black Sclera, teal iris, and a yellow pupil. the skin on the upper right half of her face is discoloured, taking on a mottled green appearance, her clothing is a suit of Orbital Shock Trooper armour, more specifically, a slightly older type of that armour. time to directly quote the group as a whole here! [for context, Minn was looking at Fox{the character} prior to walking up and actually communicating, by the way, is it too obvious that I've been re-playing Lobotomy corporation?]

Der Freischütz[Fox]: "I wave"

Manager: "they simply... keep looking"

Der Freischütz[Fox]: "I wave harder!"

Manager: "Despite their face being covered, it's hard NOT to tell that flicker of recognition as she looks at you. just enough to be like 'huh, you look a bit familiar' but not enough to recognise you as YOU."

Der Freischütz[Fox]: "she doesn't recognise me? wait say it again?"

Manager: "they don't recognise YOU per say, but they do recognise you in a more abstract way. Does that make sense?"

Fairy festival[Pixy]l: "like in the way that when you meet two people with the same face, the second person, you don't know them but you recognise them?"

Manager: "kinda? but it's more like "Imagine the experience of meeting a person[you know] but from an alternate universe where you had never met them and all that, like, their life went down a entirely different path. You would still recognise the person, and there would very likely still be some personality overlap, but you wouldn't necessarily be recognising them for who they are presently, you'd be recognising the person YOU know. from YOUR universe/timeline. that's what's happening"

anyway, Fox has to help her get her helmet off because it's stuck, once it's off, they get that facial description, Fox then offers the cigarettes, and Fox very consistently reminded our little Orbital Drop Shock Trooper of her brother, Fox[Tumblr deep-lore oc] heavily. Then Fox[here] says that his name is... what it is, and Minnesota experienced an emotion best described by the sounds of the table breaking in the infamous vine "Oh no! Our table!! it's broken!!!" which is accurate to the emotions of meeting an alternate universe version of your brother, and finding out that his particular brand of annoying bullshittery is just a multiversal constant. so is the concept of him having a metaphorical handler. yeah no, she shuts down for a minute. anyway, she says some cryptic shit before sending the team on their way, right across the hallway to... A school computer lab! finding family pictures from the human Fox previously was, with one figure mysteriously blacked out, on a computer with an eagle sticker on the side. they also find weird trackpad drawings of some non existent in-universe propaganda cartoon, school writing projects, and, on the pc for the teacher in charge of this class, student reports. one of which was about the Human Fox was based on and by reading it, you would think this teacher genuinely had it out for Fox like holy FUCK.

and that was where we left it off for this week.

OH DID WE MENTION THE PLASMA RIFLE BLUEPRINTS-
