…and it’s a mine field, not a pool. And I got more bugs:
- the electric beams often get stuck in “fire” animation, though you can still go through if you’re lucky and the beam was actually off
- when moving crates after the launch site, the game crushed. And the nearest save was in the tent behind L3 door 😅
Yes, the ON beams were mentioned at least one other player previously, although they indicated at that point it was actually a happy accident that made life a bit easier, ha.
Can you tell me which crates you are referring to after the launch site? You should end up one level down at the lift when that scene ends, correct? Are you referring to the crates one screen over to the right? Or going up the lift to the previous area?
BTW, there is a save tent to the left of the lift after the launch site sequence.
NOW I found the save tent under the lift ))) But back then I tracked all the way to the lift entrance again just to find out that I saved BEFORE I got the rifle 😭
The crash with the crates happened in the room that is to the right to where Whiskey Joe stands. I pushed the crate into the closed door on the bottom hehe ))
As for the beams. The first time I got the bug with the long beam that is next to the first mine field. Sometimes when I came to this room it just kept showing the ON animation though I could pass if lucky :)
Then I entered next rooms that actually have the beams always on for reason. But! I thought it’s a bug too and I tried to pass it. And it worked! Like not always, but after several retries I came through, so looks like the beams are actually off sometimes though they should not be.
