I'm so glad you enjoyed the game :) I tried to make this like a mini metroidvania with abilities that unlock as the player progresses. As for updates, I'm not sure if i will do a post gamejam update or not yet.
I understand. The game definitely has potential, but I know sometimes we just want to try a fresh new idea. I'm sure whatever you decide to do will be cool.
