How did you implement the Theme: Champions of the Elements in your game?
I have four individual characters, each with a real-world identity that reflects the element they gain control of in the world they find themselves in. Their abilities reflect their identity in fun and unique ways. Each has an isekai moment that delivers them to the world prophecy has said would need them.
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Each character has their own introduction, both in the real world and in the new world they find themselves in. They finally unite in a tense scene at a trade town they all end up in. Each character has a bracelet of power representative of their element. Feeding these elemental essences will strengthen the characters, replacing traditional experience gained from combat. Puzzles were planned but have not been implemented so far.

I had a glitch. After leaving the building when the 4 rejoin, the text for the encounter with the mayor replays, then turns the screen black. I can still open the menu, but the screen is black.
Thank you for the feedback! I will be sure to get that bug fixed!
The strength of this game is the character development and each of their unique qualities.
It felt like I was playing an anime to be honest, which I did like - it was a good change of pace.
Slightly disappointing to read that you planned on implementing puzzles into the game but didn't get the chance as I do feel that would have added an extra dimension to the gameplay. Solid game, nontheless!
Thank you! I am so glad you enjoyed the character development, it was a lot of fun creating each character and finding a unique personality for each of them. I was disappointed that I ran out of time as well. I still want to try to continue to develop the game further, so the puzzles will exist!
I think the story is quite interesting but I found it was a little off putting that the various art styles clashed a with each other. An example would be the stylized tilesets being used with the RTP characters that are two different art styles. Overall it was very intriguing and well made, lots of love and passion in there I can tell you've put a lot of hours into the game.
Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to play it and give feedback. I was really excited about the theme of this game jam and had a lot of fun creating the story. It was especially interesting trying to find a fun way to get all of the characters to meet up.
I am still learning the artistic side of RPG Maker, so I had chosen assets that I felt matched the vision I was going for, though that did lead to me mixing styles. When you mention the stylized tilesets clashing with the RTP characters, could you share what stood out the most? I'd love to understand it better so I can improve visually going forward!
I think the one that stood out most was in the intro with the water scene. The tileset and the water had a thick black line around the edges like pixel art commonly uses, but then the RTP graphics are thin lined and sharp, like mobile games graphics.
Thank you, I think I see what you mean! I will have to keep that in mind in the future.
