Well done!

I liked the story and general aesthetics. The music was fitting, but so quiet that I had to turn the volume way up to hear it. On the other hand, the sound effects, while sparse, were also good and had a normal volume which is fine except for the quiet nature of the music.

It wasn't always clear which tiles were impassable objects and which were not. At one point I confused a road with a mountain range.

I opted for playing in Balance mode, which ended up being easier than expected. I didn't find out what happens if you lose your balance, since it was simple enough to hold the appropriate direction based on the bar display.

The bandits were good as an obstacle, a bit aggravating to deal with when they spotted me which means they were doing their job well.

Thank you for the comment I really appreciate the detail you went into, and 100% agree with all your points! I have noticed other people who i showed the game to out of the jam had similar issues with the tiles not being clear (I'll blame my 1st time pixel art skills there)

To spoil the balance meter, you just take a hit of damage, nothing too exciting and not even an animation as it was a last minute feature to combat the shift being a bit bland lol, but I'll defo look at the balance's balance

Again really appreciate the comment and checking it out!
