I'm specifically discussing the red text here. For a list of personal reasons that aren't really appropriate for discussion on a public forum, being referred to like that makes me really uncomfortable, and honestly threw me off compared to the rest of the program. It'd be neat if that was something moddable when mod support comes out, or toggleable like Cindesh mode.
If it just referred to me by username/as User/etc. that would help, and while I understand that it's your work and overall it adds a neat tone for those interested, the sudden "Program on my computer is pushy and domminant towards me, the user" caught me off guard.
Oh, yeah that is totally fair. Sadly, Red Text is hard coded so modding won't be able to touch it without a DLL replacement (Of which I don't support due to security issues) and isn't something I can make toggle-able without a bit of a pain point on user flow.
I do think stripping away that dominate nature from Red Text is something I can't do as I believe other users have enjoyed that aspect greatly as well. But I do want to make support for what you bring up;
I think my solution will be rewording the Entry Text of the terminal to warn the players they may be encountering it in a way that feels natural.
