edit again: tried it on my phone too (not that that’s a particularly playable screen size, I just wanted to see if it would work. it did not)
Huh that's weird, double clicking works for me on Firefox Maybe it's a bug, In the mean time you should be able to hit Spacebar or Enter while its highlighted and that should work too
