wow I am really terrible at Carrom in both real life and apparently virtual life! This was a nice adaptation of it though and impressive to get it feeling this good in such a short time. The physics really achieved that sort of near floaty feeling you get in real life.
I thought the sfx worked well but it would add to the cosy feeling to have some background music playing throughout to really cement that kinda chill get lost in it vibe.
The boards look lovey and the discs are nice too, its a perfect mix of decorative not getting in the way of functional. I think however, because the gameplay visuals are so clean it made the UI feel a little under polished, very utility as opposed to part of the game word (very understandable given the time constraint though)
Great job getting so many levels in (though no idea how i could manage the later ones when the first three game me enough trouble) and top marks for not blocking them off so those of us who are rubbish at this sort of game still get to play and give the later levels a go!

Don’t worry about it , I myself is not very good with carrom in real life 🥲. The physics part all goes to Unity builtIn system , i just tweaked the values 😅 and those floaty feelings can be annoying sometimes.
I had the background music in mind but forgot to do so because it was late at night and rushed the submission. But that would have surely increased the immersion as you said.
The reason for bad UI is that i didnt knew how UI system worked in unity and also didnt get the time to make the background of button and so , UI was the main problem because of my skill issue in bigger screens the ui is getting to much scaled up and getting out of screen which is giving a bad experience to players
The key here is the power and angle , try to aim the striker in a way that it is not in line with pockets as it is very slippery and try using minimum power required as to avoid striker moving much on the board and it is never meant to be done in first try , if i had to complete all level i myself would need few attempts in each level to complete it. it can become frustrating 😂 (saying from my personal experince when building the levels)
