I try to be fair and candid about my reviews. This one seems like you spent a lot of effort to put together but a lot is missing for it to be a fun game.

-The way the character runs is clunky(animation and the turn rate) and the fact that she switches to walking after a few seconds is frustrating.

-The graphics makes my eye hurt. Flat lighting and repeating tile textures among others.

-Level design is very confusing. I have no idea where to go due to multiple path choices and no obvious direction. I think you made it more difficult for yourself by going for a large space with not much purpose.

Thank you for playing. At first: I used the butler tool to upload, with it you can go up until 2 GB (this is what I read, I have not tested more than 1.1 GB).

I was not satisfied with the character animation as well so I gave it already another animation (which looks good on preview) but the controller did not use it somehow. Maybe this will get possible with more time of examination. By the way, by pressing W again the character will continue to run so you'll never need to walk.
I had to made decisions, and at this time there were much else to do. After the rating, I'll continue to work at the game, and animation and lighting will be part of that.

It is an open world so it will give you no obvious direction. Many people dislike quest markers, even minimaps. To assist the player, there is the crystal which glows when a connection is in the vicinity. In a game about exploration and being cautious of monsters I think it would be contraproductive to put signposts or markers everywhere. And I had scripts which would fill some space to give more variety but they got not completed in time. On the other hand - dialogues, book pages, a help page, a journal and the story arc are there.
