Thank you very much for playing the game, the nice compliments and the detailed feedback. I’m glad you liked the computer codes from a fellow programmer haha 🤣

Regarding the removals of choices when they are placed, we thought about it during development, but ultimately decided against it. Mechanics differ in different games, but using process of elimination is not part of the intended experience in this one. Everyone could have all been named Alex for example, but based on the clue it’s not the case. It also gives the designer room to throw in some red herrings if they wanted.

We already have a plan to fix the clue in the calendar though, so there will be a small updates to the clues.

Regarding your solution, it’s not the correct one yet. In normal mode, there’s a faint green border surrounding a character panel when you put in the correct solution for them, as it’s the case in Apt. 202 (bottom-right). There’s also a sound that plays when it happens. The game will tell you when everything’s correct. Regardless, your feedback gave me a good idea of improving the UI so players can manually check their solution so far. I’m pleased to hear the UI serves the game well, but there’s still some room to make it better.

So thank you again for your comment. It was greatly appreciated.
