I don't know what will happen later, but the plot is too long and drawn-out, with many rambling details that are really annoying. That being said, I felt more like I was reading a story than playing a game; the choices I made were often irrelevant and didn't affect the direction of the story at all. It felt like instead of giving me a choice of path, the game automatically steered me in a particular direction, and I was very annoyed by that.

Ok.

I'm sorry but what part of visual NOVEL does ur brain not comprehend. While it is a game, it is a NOVEL with visuals that aims to tell a story and also this is only a demo we haven't even seen half of the story so what gives you the right to criticise another person's work just bc you didn't like the direction of the game which is a story that the creator wants to tell.

“My NOVEL has WORDS in it? And it has a STORY too? Totally unacceptable!” this is what you sound like btw

(+3)

don't you just hate when the visual novel has words like a novel, UGHHH  /s

While criticisms can be helpful for developers, this just sounds rude. It's a demo of maybe 1-2 hours of playthrough, of course it isn't going to have a fully fleshed out storyline yet. Also, it's a visual novel, which means it will be text-heavy. I, for one, appreciate all of the "rambling" details because it helps capture my attention and put me into the story. Imagine a reading a book with the most boring writing ever. Not too interesting, is it? The same holds true for a visual novel, it needs writing to convey the story and help the player feel a part of it.  Also the "lack of choices" is probably due to the fact that it is still a demo release, the full storyline and paths have yet to be released.

My lobster too buttery, my steak too juicy, ahhhh.

It's a VN. What did you expect? It's not even fully released? Of course it's sorry heavy? It's a PROLOGUE, basically. Unless you want ABSOLUTELY NO LORE. But in a world building story, you need that, so suck it up?

Besides, all stories start with some build up. The whole first part of this is literally just introducing the story, conflict, and characters. Patience is a virtue, and if you can't accept a NOVEL for what it is, than go find one of the other games that are shorter and less story centered.
