I enjoy the mechanics quite a bit, reminds me of Into The Breach.
I would have liked to see indications of where the bugs would have go the next turn. If that's not part of the intended mechanics, then highlight the squares where they could go into is sufficient and would have been a nice QoL feature. That and the outer ring having a different color could also be appreciated.
The "too big an enclosure" is also a bit of a gotcha moment, and indicators for that scenario would also been nice.
Would have liked more juice on the UI to make it feels nicer to play, but it's less of an issue than some other jam games I've played so far.
Overall, not bad a game. Good job!
