Great game! It really encouraged me to just run around and explore what you built. I had a blast! :)

A minor suggestion: when going through a portal, it would be awesome if you could give the character an impulse (ideally maintaining their previous momentum). Even though it's a small detail, I think it would add a ton of 'juice' to the game.

Also, it felt a bit weird that the characters stand there in what looks like a modeling A-pose while idle, but that’s just my personal opinion and honestly doesn't matter for a short GameJam project. Maybe you can update the idle animation later if you continue working on it. Great job!

Hey, thanks for playing and enjoying the game as well as your kind and detailed feedback! Yeah I had to cut many of the flourishes such as many sound effects, music and things like adding an impulse on teleport due to time constraints, agree they'd improve game feel a lot. The A pose is an unintentional side effect of reusing the Manny and Quinn ABP, no time to redo the animations for the model pack I used for the characters so had to live with it to hit release. Actually finishing a complete game loop and the story for a jam, even a simple one, was quite an invaluable experience though. Hopefully next year we'll both have even better games for others to play!
