The pond frog sings songs in a magical pond.
The pond frog sits in the shade or in the sun. It depends. And watches everything around. It's a wonderful pond. The water is green. The colors are just like the frog. Water lilies grow here. Delicious algae grows underwater. There are lots of interesting things lying on the bottom. There are driftwood. And on the surface, there are water lilies. And sunshine. You can shelter from the sun in the grass or in the water.
The pond frog loves this pond. It has its own little house here. One above the water, one under. And the frog builds itself a gazebo on the lilies. To drink tea. And to dive. There's a place in the shade. And a place in the sun. Whatever your heart desires.
You can even float on a water lily. Slowly. And float to the very middle of the pond. And then dive. So that only your eyes are visible. You can float. The frog spends a lot of time underwater, too. There's sand there, too. And it's wonderful to watch the water vary in color. In different places. From dark tea to golden. And there's also a variety of greens. The pond has so many interesting things. It's a magical pond for a frog.
Trees provide shelter from the scorching sun. And there's a meadow nearby. And there's a spot with swamp water. Grass grows there. And everything is always in the water just right. And then the water gets thinner and thinner. And only then does the grass grow tall and dry around. It's not so hot in the tall grass. And there's shade.
The frog also knows places with large puddles where it can sit and get wet. There are these little holes in the field. And they vary in depth. It's just fun to jump in and sit there. And sometimes it's so deep—an entire stream starts there. So much so that only the eyes can be seen.
The frog is everywhere here. In the grass. In the field. In the stream. In the pond. The pond is the main spot. The frog spends most of its time here, and it's where the frog makes its home. There's a river. With golden water. There's a part of the river with dark water. The water there is dark. And you have to swim to the shore. And there's sand. Tall grass. And trees. Beyond that is the forest. The frog doesn't go there. It tries to stay near the water. And there's water everywhere here. One way or another, all the waterways lead somewhere familiar. To the pond. It's the central part.
So you won't get lost. You just walk along the water. And you'll come to the pond. You'll recognize familiar streams. Familiar hummocks. Grass. Puddles. Familiar places are everywhere here. You can travel along the golden river. Or swim along the deeper river. Whatever you like. You can run across the entire field. Even jump. Or sit in the grass. It's nice there in the morning after the rain. It's humid.
The frog tries to come back for lunch and tea. And when it's time to go to bed. And so she hops around everywhere. There's an even bigger pond there. It's probably even more magical. Every pond is a magical place. A whole world to explore. Here's a frog floating on a water lily. And looking around.
