I had a lot of fun playing this! On my first try, I lost because I didn't quite understand how the controls worked. Selecting buildings with left-click but placing them with right-click was a bit confusing at first, especially since the description says that right-click cancels the placement.
On my second try, the game just stopped. I didn't get a crash message or anything, it didn't freeze in the classic sense, it just didn't progress any further :( I uploaded a screenshot of the exact moment it stopped, hopefully that helps you debug it!
Other than that, I really enjoyed it! This is 'unfortunately' the kind of game where half an hour disappears without you even noticing ^^ so maybe I was lucky it stopped, or I would've played forever :D
