very cute and great presentation, love the simlish/animal crossing voices (I've thought about doing something similar, how did you create them?). seriously impressive that you did all the art and music yourselves!

Thanks so much I really appreciate it!! Basically I recorded us each saying just a few random cute syllables (ie "ma" "mi" "mu"), and then when the text is being animated they were being triggered every x amount of characters that would appear. I think I landed on every 4 characters a sound would trigger. Somehow it worked super well right away! Then we just recorded 7 different sets of voices that each NPC got assigned :)
