Interesting. I was able to collect 9/9 on the 2nd level and beat the level and get the dialogue. I totally didn't jump over all the ghosts on the way there or anything... Also I couldn't tell what switching dimensions did other than change the background color and music. I also wasn't sure what to do on level 1, but I did beat level 2.
