This is why I like when the jam takes the judges score and the communities score in to account. Not just the community. I've also noticed people will rate a game low just so it knocks it out of the race.

Yeah, that's why we make sure we have judge voting for the main prizes.

Community voting can do a great job, but if the number of ratings is low, or people try to do rate for rate voting, the results can be very skewed. 😅

Yeah it makes sense.
As developers, rate other games should be a "game into the game" for us, but sportsmanship is sometimes a superpower ^^

Yeah, I see a lot of guy's doing rate my game I rate yours. Here and on discord too, some are straight up asking people to rate their jam games on reddit. And it feels like your hardwork was all for naught.
