Well. Itch's "social" features are rudimentary and crude.
It's about 40 recent posts you will see on a profile.
And about the questions & support thing, I complained about it, but not enough people noticed it and the complaint was auto-archived https://itch.io/t/6068170/please-rename-this-message-board-category

... for an actual support message board. But this is not such a tech support message board. It is a community message board. Archiving threads so quickly is still strange. But it's consistent with the crude nature of the social features. No private messages. No following messages. No mention mechanics. And so on. The public message board is not really frequented by many people. Granted, Itch is not a really big site, but the message board is really small. Just look how many views a typical thread will get. It's less than 100. And threads with answers will divide that number by the people reading there several times.
People are not on Itch to read and post in the message boards. They are here for games and might comment on some of those games, but not on the general Itch message board.
