The demo was a native Linux executable. After paying the 5$, there was only a Mac or Windows full version (i feel betrayed). That one runs in wine, so i don't know, if the bugs with

  • layouting on ultrawide
  • text size reverts to default on history back

are because of this, but Unity games are generally no trouble on wine, except if the dev does some weird things. Since the game only has, what, 3 resolutions?, i guess the layouting issues are due to the later.

Aside from that, a few things that should be better:

  • general jankiness of the interface, which lets me believe, that the dev just learned interfaces generally
  • cheats should be in a cheaper option or in its own; 20$ is too much, if you only want to avoid grinding. And you don't create fans by ripping them off.
    • subscription is actively checked each.single.time: store the subcription in some state file, unless you really don't want one-time payments?
  • some scenes need a rework; did the elf poop in her pants while leaving the mines? walks like this: /-^-\
    • too large gaps with the same still image

All in all, i think something like Ren'py would've been better suited for you. Except if you really wanted to learn Unity interfaces, in which case the most aggressive monetization i've seen in a itch/patreon game is a bit egregious.

Hi thanks for the bug information.

Cylia walks like this because she just experienced part of her fear. It's good that you noticed it.

The resolutions must be problem with wine.

I left the old linux versions, tho there are several topics here where i mention linux is not actively supported. Thought im glad it win still works through wine.

If you could mention what do you mean 'general jankiness' with the interface, otherwise I can't unfortunately fix any issues because I'm not sure what are you referring to. It might be also problem with wine.

I'm not sure what you mean also by too large gaps. Is there any image loading issue, or an image leaves for too long? Or something else? I'm not sure.

Saving that much data is not performant enough at this point with renpy. The new mode, complex and performant visual effects. There is many other technical cases where renpy just will fall flat and the gap will only wider the longer the game is being developed.

In case of other questions my discord dms are always open.

Thanks for playing. <3
