Hi thanks for the bug information.
Cylia walks like this because she just experienced part of her fear. It's good that you noticed it.
The resolutions must be problem with wine.
I left the old linux versions, tho there are several topics here where i mention linux is not actively supported. Thought im glad it win still works through wine.
If you could mention what do you mean 'general jankiness' with the interface, otherwise I can't unfortunately fix any issues because I'm not sure what are you referring to. It might be also problem with wine.
I'm not sure what you mean also by too large gaps. Is there any image loading issue, or an image leaves for too long? Or something else? I'm not sure.
Saving that much data is not performant enough at this point with renpy. The new mode, complex and performant visual effects. There is many other technical cases where renpy just will fall flat and the gap will only wider the longer the game is being developed.
In case of other questions my discord dms are always open.
Thanks for playing. <3
Linux build is very old. I currently do not support it due to lack of time. On linux you could possibly try Windows build with a compatibility layer like wine / lutris. Which a few users had success with it yet I also cannot guarantee support for that. That is due to lack of time and more pressing priorities.
Sorry for the late reply I didn't get notification for this post. I do not put any limit of save files, and all of the file previews get loaded at the time you access the menu. The problem usually was not noticable on a better rig, yet it was a problem because of newtonsoft library which allocates lots of garbage. That library is now only used for old saves, because the save file system was internally refactored recently.
Thanks for playing. For quicker reply message @hikkeiru on discord.
This is not available in public version / this version. This ui frame is only here because it was pushed down with a fix to public. For latest visit https://www.hikkeiru.com/updates
It should not require that much ram. I'm not sure how to reproduce it. Possibly history saves are causing this issue which can be turned off in settings. Or too many taken saves, during opening of the menu the textures get loaded taking up the ram. If you can send me your saves folder. I'll take a look. On discord dm @Hikkeiru .
