loving game so far at point dont want to spoil for anyone but it saying I need to equip something in my hand but I dont see anywhere for inventory/backpack.

Is it the during basement?

I'm not sure how to reproduce it myself and if you have more specific information please message @hikkeiru on discord.

If it is during basement then you should be able to skip this after failing couple of times in case that is. 

In general you should be able to get an item that you can equip in equipment. You can access both in top bar > pause looking like button > inventory.

And the item for basement could be automatically added to your inventory from previous event.

so um it's says I need a input code or something like that now I always hit skip but it  keeps on  showing up and  it's  kinda annoying  

it shows when u click at bottom right corner, or through menu
