Viewing post in LOOKING FOR A TEAM TO WORK WITH
Hey ๐
I checked out your projects/gameplay and honestly I respect the fact that you already have playable builds and active development going on.
Right now Iโm building a small focused team under my brand โVoidForge Studiosโ for game jams and future indie projects.
I mainly focus on:
- gameplay systems
- programming/workflow
- atmosphere
- optimization
- polished small-scope projects
Iโd like to know a bit more about:
- your workflow
- how you usually work in teams
- what role you enjoy most
- and what kind of collaboration youโre looking for.
Your projects definitely caught my attention ๐
Also one important thing ๐
Iโm mainly looking to build a small committed team with strong collaboration and consistent workflow during the jam.
So ideally Iโd prefer working with people who are focused on one main team/project instead of splitting attention across multiple teams at the same time.
Are you currently committed to any other team already, or are you looking for one focused long-term collaboration/team? ๐
By the way ๐
Right now Iโve already found a voice actor for the team as well, and Iโm still slowly building the rest of the core group around the project/studio.
I wanted to ask if there are any other areas youโd also be interested in helping with besides programming โ maybe things like:
- gameplay ideas
- level design
- UI
- testing/balancing
- polishing
- effects
- optimization
Since Iโm trying to build a small but flexible team where everyone can contribute more than one thing when needed ๐
Also, one more thing ๐
If youโre comfortable with it, Iโd honestly prefer if you stay mainly focused on this team/project during the jam instead of splitting time across multiple groups.
Iโm trying to build a small but reliable team where everyone stays active, communicates properly, and grows together long-term ๐
Before moving further, Iโd also like to understand a bit more clearly how you usually work in a team ๐
For example:
- What would you mainly handle/contribute for the project?
- What are your strongest skills right now?
- How active are you usually during jams?
- And what kind of workflow do you prefer?
Right now the team is still small and focused because Iโm trying to build a serious long-term group with strong collaboration instead of a huge random team.
One important thing for me is commitment and focus, so ideally Iโd prefer members who are mainly focused on one team/project during the jam instead of joining multiple teams at once.
Also, if youโd like to continue discussing things more seriously, feel free to contact me through my email so we can plan things more properly ๐ Email : voidforge489@gmail.com
Honestly Iโm really excited to work with someone who actually builds projects and stays active ๐
And good news โ youโre officially the first member of the team ๐ Welcome to VoidForge Studios ๐ฅ
Right now Iโm keeping the team small and focused, so commitment and consistency will matter a lot moving forward.
Iโll also be focusing heavily on:
- strong teamwork
- polished gameplay
- realistic scope
- and long-term growth together as a team
Glad to have you here ๐ฅ
Also sorry ๐
Earlier I mentioned continuing mainly through email, but now the team is slowly growing to around 5โ6 members, so Iโll probably need to organize a proper group for easier communication/workflow.
Because of that, WhatsApp would honestly be much easier for:
- team coordination
- updates
- planning
- screenshots/files
- and fast communication ๐
So if possible, please download WhatsApp and send me your number when you can ๐
