Hey ๐Ÿ‘‹

Your project branding and presentation honestly look pretty solid already.

Iโ€™m mainly focused on gameplay systems/programming and small polished project workflows, so I wanted to ask a bit more about the project direction and team structure.

How large is the team currently? And what kind of gameplay scope are you aiming for during the jam?

Right now Iโ€™m mostly interested in focused teams with realistic scope and strong collaboration/workflow ๐Ÿš€

So basically, it's about a spaceship box that trying to rescue tiny white astronauts from outer space Currently, it will have 5 levels, each of them being a test run for when the full game comes out. It's just only me working on the game, but I am free for a few people to help out and publish. If you want to chat more, use my email address: davidrotimi2009@gmail.com. Thanks!

Hey ๐Ÿ‘‹

I checked out your projects/gameplay and honestly I respect the fact that you already have playable builds and active development going on.

Right now Iโ€™m building a small focused team under my brand โ€œVoidForge Studiosโ€ for game jams and future indie projects.

I mainly focus on:

  • gameplay systems
  • programming/workflow
  • atmosphere
  • optimization
  • polished small-scope projects

Iโ€™d like to know a bit more about:

  • your workflow
  • how you usually work in teams
  • what role you enjoy most
  • and what kind of collaboration youโ€™re looking for.

Your projects definitely caught my attention ๐Ÿš€

Also one important thing ๐Ÿ‘€

Iโ€™m mainly looking to build a small committed team with strong collaboration and consistent workflow during the jam.

So ideally Iโ€™d prefer working with people who are focused on one main team/project instead of splitting attention across multiple teams at the same time.

Are you currently committed to any other team already, or are you looking for one focused long-term collaboration/team? ๐Ÿš€

I would love to take that offer as a team. Ever since I started my game development route 4 years ago, I have been on my own, making developing and making sure I can take ideas for interesting games on the future. So yes, I love to join the studio and work as a team.

Awesome ๐Ÿ‘€

I think it would be much easier to talk/workflow properly through direct chat instead of long comment threads here.

Iโ€™m currently organizing things for the team/project structure, so we can continue discussing ideas, workflow, and planning there ๐Ÿš€

Ok, but where?

Deleted 27 days ago

Hey! What would you mainly like to work on in the team?

VFX, UI/UX, voice acting, programming, art, or something else?

Voice acting and programming

plaese only one

Voice acting

By the way ๐Ÿ‘€

Right now Iโ€™ve already found a voice actor for the team as well, and Iโ€™m still slowly building the rest of the core group around the project/studio.

I wanted to ask if there are any other areas youโ€™d also be interested in helping with besides programming โ€” maybe things like:

  • gameplay ideas
  • level design
  • UI
  • testing/balancing
  • polishing
  • effects
  • optimization

Since Iโ€™m trying to build a small but flexible team where everyone can contribute more than one thing when needed ๐Ÿš€

Testing and balancing

Before moving further, Iโ€™d also like to understand a bit more clearly how you usually work in a team ๐Ÿ‘€

For example:

  • What would you mainly handle/contribute for the project?
  • What are your strongest skills right now?
  • How active are you usually during jams?
  • And what kind of workflow do you prefer?

Right now the team is still small and focused because Iโ€™m trying to build a serious long-term group with strong collaboration instead of a huge random team.

One important thing for me is commitment and focus, so ideally Iโ€™d prefer members who are mainly focused on one team/project during the jam instead of joining multiple teams at once.

Also, if youโ€™d like to continue discussing things more seriously, feel free to contact me through my email so we can plan things more properly ๐Ÿš€ Email : voidforge489@gmail.com

- I handle most of the data programming

- I can develop more features during highschool

- I am very VERY active to be on this game Jam

- A nice, relaxing overflow where we can decide on an idea, and develop it as a team while taking good time

Just so you know, I'm 16. Hope it doesn't change things

Honestly Iโ€™m really excited to work with someone who actually builds projects and stays active ๐Ÿ‘€

And good news โ€” youโ€™re officially the first member of the team ๐Ÿš€ Welcome to VoidForge Studios ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Right now Iโ€™m keeping the team small and focused, so commitment and consistency will matter a lot moving forward.

Iโ€™ll also be focusing heavily on:

  • strong teamwork
  • polished gameplay
  • realistic scope
  • and long-term growth together as a team

Glad to have you here ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Wow, thanks! This is actually the very first time I'm joining a indie game development studio, and I can't wait for more members to arrive and to make the best games we can together! Thanks for letting me join, you really didn't have to do this! ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ

Awesome ๐Ÿ‘€

  • roles
  • and future plans for VoidForge Studios ๐Ÿš€ GroupN : VoiForge Studio

I don't have WhatsApp, but I do have TextNow, Instagram, Gmail, and Facebook

By the way ๐Ÿ‘€

What would you prefer the team to call you as inside the studio/team?

Your real name, nickname, or just โ€œGWDโ€? ๐Ÿš€

My real name is David, but you can all call me GWD.

where are you from?
