i'm a solo developer and rn i'm in the stage of visual novel development where i know what i want to happen and the main story, but now i have to actually write it out ToT

i love writing and making this game but it's sooo boring and hard to do right now, and i kinda have to just force myself to keep going

i wanted to know if anyone else experiences this and if u guys have tips for keeping motivation when writing out ur game??

Hi saturn

From your description, it seems that right now, you're over-focused on the writing aspect of your game. I suggest you to add some variety into your work and touch on other aspects of your game like music, graphic and programming. New writing ideas will spark while you work on other tasks.

Take my advice with a grain of salt because, as you can see from my games, writing isn't the primary focus of my games.

I hope this advice helps you.

Best of luck in your game development,

Irog
