In regards to the first question, does that include talking about the topic to others? If I were to chat with someone on Discord about ideas, I'm assuming that would count as writing it down preemptively, but I wanted to make sure.

We do encourage folks to talk freely about their #RPGenesis as that helps them with putting ideas together and, of course, helps with promoting the event. In our experience from previous editions, it feels like people don't see the point in copy-pasting from stuff they wrote previously. We do it for the creative writing exercise done in these seven days.
