I really like the concept. There are only a few things I'd like to see:

  • The ability to not only rotate but also mirror buildings
    • If this is something you dont want, because you want to keep the puzzle aspect of the game, then one option would be to have different shapes for buildings. for example: the default 2x2 battery has its port on the left side, while the alternative shape has it on the right. You could make the alternatives rareish to keep the puzzle aspect but also allow for lucky drops to allow better optimization
  • Creating loadouts to switch between different configurations. For example: one loadout could be for refining raw materials, another one for gathering resources from POIs, etc.
  • The ui is a bit clunky. for example: if I want to put down wires, I have to click on a wire in my inventory and then at the spot in the body. this leads to a lot of clicks if I want to put down a lot of them
  • the ability to auto refill biocells (the big ones, not the small ones)
  • a statistics window to see what is generating/consuming how much. For example: I had a lot of bio generators but I had no idea if I generate enough bio mass or not.

Other than those points, I am really looking forward to more content
