Brutal game! Very clever minimalist level design. The music fits really well and the game is well balanced overall. If I needed to add something I’d say, some sounds for the moving mechanical parts, acid drops and flames. Maybe also animating the rolling of the nut as it moves. Thank you for this fun experience!
The piston sounds and drop sounds were next on my list, but I was running out of time so I just left them silent. That'll be the last thing I add... maybe when the jam is done. And I had an animation on the nut as it moved, but it's such a minimal game that it was hard to not make it too much, so I just added the jump animation and left it at that. There is an idle: if you stand still long enough it blinks. :)
