9/10 rating
A good meter management exorcism horror clicker game.
The game is extremely immersive and lowkey badass how your just running it back at the demon. The sound effects feel good and the meter management I enjoyed. The gameplay loop, the story, and the art I truly believe this game should be expanded upon and put on steam, or if not expanded upon I think another mechanic should be added late game to make it more intense, or the dev should incorporate this into his other game in some fashion.
Negatives:
- The window resolution; I had to shrink my monitor to 125% (its usually 150%) to actually see the full screen of the game. This will most likely filter out alot of players before they even have a chance to try the game.
- Late game repetition; At a certain point you get into a flow of spamming certain options in order, especially if your doing multiple path playthroughs, I believe once the player hits this point, a new threat should come online, or make the manifestations way more aggressive on that final path.
Positives:
- Great atmosphere, very interesting lore, I enjoyed conversating with the demon. The writing is done really well for a game this short.
- Game feels good, my favorite relic item is the nail, i love the sound effect when you use it. I also like chugging the flask.
- Demon art, seeing the possessed slightly change overtime was very cool.
Finishing thoughts
This a nicely wrapped game and I wish there was a hard mode.

Thanks so much for the in depth feedback!
Im still grinding away implementing stuff I didn't get to finish and put into the game(and won't be able to upload here until the judging for the jam is concluded). Every run is SUPPOSED to get harder on completion, I just haven't gotten there yet, and I want to make the runs harder with more interesting mechanics than just making the math more punishing... because math is punishing enough, dammit! For example, the demon starts animating the corpses I hadn't gotten to paint in yet! I just got them working tonight and they make the runs way harder... I might actually need to tone them down a bit. Also the relics will shuffle, you lose access to certain random tools each turn, etc. Also more branching dialogue(And consequences/mechanics for dialogue options), and more saints/dialogue tree paths/endings.
