1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

Hi! My name is Fatima, but I also go by Silly online!

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

I did not participate in last year's game jam, but I did participate in another one back in the Summer of 2018! I tried to make a platformer game and tried to make a level but... didn't really worked out b/c I had no idea what I was honestly doing on Unity lol.

I'm coming back to this jam to develop a Twine visual novel instead (easier and honestly my favorite to do!) to develop a world for my characters!I've created some Twine games and they've been super fun to make and I wanna make more of them! What I plan on doing better is learning how to manage my time better and also learn a little bit more about what Twine is like so that maybe... I can play around with certain things in it and make my game more unique!

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

I like all kinds of games from platformers (Super Mario), to Adventure (Legend of Zelda),  to fighting games (basically any Dragon Ball Z game). I have been getting into visual novels recently (like Serre, Butterfly Soup, DDLC, etc.) because I love the various outcomes you can make with every choice you make.

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?

I've dabbled with Unity but I'm not very confident in my skills to make a game on it so I just stick to making games on Twine. I made a Twine game for my Senior Media Project last year called "pythia_logs" which you can check out on my page!

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

I LOVE ART!!! And I love talking about shows and media I'm into! And I adore my characters a lot!

6. What are your goals for this game jam?

My goals for this game jam is to complete at least two routes for my game.

7. Any advice to new participants? Remember to pace yourself, know what your skillset is, and keep the scope of your project in mind when working on it.

8. What can the admins do to improve your jam experience? Provide more resources to tutorials on game dev/game design programs?

9. What are some of the past works you've made for the jam? Show off your favorites! I do have a dev blog of the game I tried to make but I never made a demo for it. I hope to make one for it someday. Here's a link: https://fates-journeydev.tumblr.com/
