Sure! Since you asked so nicely i checked it out. The delay was almost completely gone. i think i noticed it maybe twice in 30~mins. Lots of fun! More feedback below:

After crafting, I noticed I was able to buy an upgrade even though I was 1 coin short. This put me into negative income but didn't affect overall gameplay. (see pic below)

I'm not sure if runes were meant to be implemented in this alpha but I was able to purchase 1. I chose the chain lightening but it doesn't work and I also can't purchase more despite my thousands of coins. I'd suggest adding text or something to let the player know Runes are bugged/unavailable here. 

The progression felt very slow after buying all tree upgrades. Just felt like grinding for materials (please please PLEASE up mana core drop rate) and levels and ulitimately i gave up at stage 7 after unlocking all wepaons and armor. I'm not sure if this was the true end of the demo or not but it feels like I have nothing else to play for. (I assume this is due to Runes not being implemented.)

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback and for giving the build another try! Glad to hear the delay issue is much better now.

A few notes on your points:

  • Negative income bug: Thanks for reporting this, we'll look into this
  • Runes: You're right, they're not fully implemented in this alpha. We'll add a clear placeholder text in the description on itch page.
  • Progression & mana cores – Great feedback. We're still tuning drop rates and overall balance. Stage 7 is indeed the current demo endpoint, but we agree it needs a clearer "end of content" message.
