Hey folks,

I recently uploaded my first game and I'd love to share it with you. Unfortunately it does not get indexed. I made sure to fulfill all requirements, making it playable in Browser, setting it to Public and make it free. Am I missing something?

I contacted the support, but do not receive an answer since days.

My games page: https://glapps.itch.io/neuron-wars

Ticket ID: 365930

Best regards, Glappsi

Please read the rules before posting. They point you at the relevant documentation and tell you what to do.

As I said, IMO I did all the things the docs said about indexing the game. Would be really grateful for a hint on what I might have missed.

…For one thing, the rules specifically tell you to read the Search & Browse FAQ, that in turn says:

There are also some scenarios where your page must be viewed by a moderator before it can be indexed. The most common case is for new sellers: If you’ve just created an account and you’re selling your first project, then your published page is placed in a queue for review. We generally review these within a few business days after a project is published. Although your page may not be indexed during this time, it is still published and fully functional via your profile and URL. We recommend distributing your page as normal, as activity to the page can help prioritize it in our review queue. We appreciate your patience for this step. Established sellers with no history of issues will skip this review step and will be indexed immediately. If you have any questions or need to be expedited, then please contact us through our support page.

The same rules also tell you that if the support request isn’t answered in a timely fashion, you should post your ticket ID here so your request can be expedited.

Last, if you look around, you’ll notice the exact same questions, answered in the exact same ways, sometimes by me and sometimes by other people, in lots and lots of topics with a similar subject. Hope this helps.

Alright, thanks for pointing that out. I added the ticket ID to the post.
