Thank you very much for your response!
One last question regarding Iris's multi-deaths; could Sally be pushed into an in-fight with her as monsters can with each-other? I realize if the monsters I dragged to her home got into a scuffle and somehow Sally hit Iris, or vice versa, that could start an in-fight conceivably, and I noticed critters seem to keep grudges, so I'm theorizing Sally had a grudge against Iris that flares anew every start of each day.
Also, if Sally is considered a villager herself that's revived as others are each day, that may account for the tooth I found meaning Sally died and was revived, and also 2 other teeth I forgot about that I found south of the house.
It's a fascinating circumstance at any rate haha. This game is awesome!
Tamed creatures cannot attack their owner - if you attack your tamed creature enough times, the taming ribbon will break and they can finally attack back, but that doesn't sound like what's going on. Currently, there's no way to revive creatures - that's a planned change, but if sally died she'd be gone for good. The teeth are just a daily drop for swampjaws.
As for grudges, they do fade over a few days, but yes, creatures can remember you attacked them or stole their eggs.
