Thank you! Really glad it feels polished.

You're right that the upgrade descriptions need work - Auto-Scribe and Ink Flow doing similar-sounding things is confusing. Auto-Scribe is meant to be the unlock that lets you stop clicking entirely, while Ink Flow increases the rate. I need to make that distinction much clearer in the tooltips.

On pacing - you're on the right track with filling shelves. I'll look at the early progression curve, a few people have mentioned it feels slow before things open up. That's exactly what I need to hear at this stage.

Thanks for playing and for writing this up!

I see, that might be a bug then, as I don’t need to click anymore (other than to speed up the wps) once I get “Ink Flow”. At level 1 I get 0.5wps without clicking.

A nitpick I have is the difference between “clicking” and “activating” the “click to write” button. The “quill strength”‘s label says “+1 word per click” but I actually don’t need to click, holding the mouse button is enough. Some incremental games have this distinction, so I assumed this was the case as well.

I’ve just finished the demo by getting 100% of the “weight of knowledge”. By the end it was “too fast” in the sense that I didn’t know what more to do other than just holding the “click to write” icon and waiting for the weight of knowledge to fill up to 100%.

One thing I struggled with was picking the new words in the lexicon. Once I had a lot of them, I didn’t want to see the “Common” words anymore, but it was not possible to filter them out. It would also be nice to minimize the Ledge as it was getting on top of some UI elements.

Really appreciate you playing through the whole demo! This is super helpful and I love a nitpick so don't apologise.

You're right about Ink Flow - if it's generating words without clicking at level 1, that does make Auto-Scribe redundant. I need to rethink how those two relate. Either Ink Flow shouldn't auto-generate at base level, or Auto-Scribe needs to do something meaningfully different.

Good catch on click vs hold - I'll make the tooltips consistent with how it actually works.

The "too fast at the end" feeling is useful to hear. Sounds like once you hit a certain point the demo doesn't have enough to do with your output. I'll look at the late-demo pacing so there's more to engage with before the gate.

Word rarity filtering in the Lexicon, absolutely, that should be there. And the minimisable Ledger has come up a few times now, definitely adding that.

Thanks for sticking with it to the end and writing all this up. Exactly the kind of feedback I need.
