Starting week 3, the limitation will be removed, because I completely agree. I am not removing it for week 2 since I already published it as such, BUT participants don’t have to limit themselves to Pygame if they want to do something in another engine. I will give people the point for the engine regardless of whether they use Pygame or not. If they do, I’ll give them an extra point - the max is still 5 stars, so they can ignore one of the other limitations and still get 5 stars as long as they hit two other constraints. Thanks for chiming in and confirming my thoughts on this. :-)

Thanks for the update, that's good to know.  Currently I'm trying to get familiar with a specific game framework through practice and game jams are a useful way to practice and develop those skills without jumping from one engine to another for each game jam.
