yeah I’m happy for them too but at the same time I’d have loved to see this later with both of those, after choosing to play Cupid and not directly like this, cause Damon’s route feels less real to me. Ughh i’m so bad at finding the right words to explain it while writing it. Lol if it was a face to face talk with a friend in German,I’d go off😂😂

i feel the same! Alisa/Damon is like this natural course in all other routes but Damon's. they talk in his like they're a thing of the past, and that would work if that continuation was there in all routes, but instead they def still have a thing going on. it's like Damon's route is an alternate dimension where he and Alisa's feelings are strictly platonic. but.. that's not the case for the other routes so like you said it feels less real.

i think there being personal relationships or just a possibility of more between crew-members (like w/ Bash & his crush on Ryona) is cute and adds character building. but since MC can be romantic with any one of them the idea of anyone already being "involved" makes any relationship MC forms with them less solid

i have no issue with Damon and Alisa having been a couple in the past regardless of the route, but it's the way it's dismissed as being over in his route but still a present relationship in the others that's seems spotty

i meant 'alternate dimension" more as in how the "canon" in A6 plays out, not how players play their MC. so like, the canon universe in Damon's route (regardless of MC) acts as if he and Alisa are not a thing Pre-Cursa, but in other routes the canon plays out as if they already are—albeit loosely, intimately involved before they rekindle the feelings that are still there.

side romances don't bother me at all btw! i do love games where romanceable characters can be together, like with Dragon Age.

That's how I understood it. Damon left and the feelings might still be there in a non-romance damon route, but it's only rekindled after you visit Cursa again and still has the issue of Zane. Plus Alisa, as she puts it, isn't anyone's woman.

But that sort of depends on one's definition of what Canon is. To me...canon is the main route I always play first. (or my most favorite romantice route in a game). So for me, the canon is Damon/MC with a long-over old romance with Alisa. So in my Damon route, I'm cool with how it is.

If in the other routes, that's different and Damon still has a thing for her, that's cool, since that isn't my canon route. Guess it comes down to the individual.

Exactly. Plus you could argue that, if you never eavesdropped in the non-romance Damon routes, you'd never know the extent of their relationship. So by eavesdropping, you opened up that possibility in those playthroughs.
