Feedback:

  • Menu Music loop
  • Nice intro with getting out of the egg, I don't understand the setting, as it doesn't seem to be used later on
  • The fight mechanics have room to grow :)
    • I don't think I've got even hit once... Ah, I didn't get it but visual feedback is missing
    • I think transitions into scenes are missing, while the attack scene has that, the collection doesn't and it immediately starts.
  • Good to have different stats, I'm not sure if all of them are relevant yet?
  • Getting more body parts is fun, I'm unclear if there is a specific mechanic to it yet?
    • The collision boxes wouldn't need improvement for collecting shrooms
  • The different paths and making the decisions feels good, however there isn't much impact or weight behind the decisions.

Interesting to see how the monster evolves. Does it have an ending, or just keep going until out of stamina? It doesn't seem to get harder as I play, so it's unclear when a run might end.

Hi, yeah, no ending as  of this version.  It actually gets easier so once you get started you can keep going forever as enemies are pretty much OHKO.  This is purely for the POC demo, the final version will have more strategy and difficulty scaling involved and more variance on evolution paths etc.
